Data protection is a topic of growing social and legal interest as a result of the increase of the processing of information about individuals. Its increasing interest resulted in the adoption of EC, state and regional regulations thought to provide individuals with security for theirrights and interests. Thus, this SEMINAR will be of great intererest as it is meant to analyse the consequences of these rules in the legal status of the individual.

With that aim in mind we have designed this highly technical program. The lectures scheduled will be given from an interdisciplinary perspective by professionals and researchers specialized in this topic from different law fields, mainly Civil Law and Constitution Law. This will enable a global study of the situation. We will also have experts and technicians from European Data Protection Authorities and Agencies. They will give an accurate view of the problems posed and their possible solutions.
